Windows 10 Build 14328 update list

Computer store news: Microsoft has pushed Windows 10 PC/Mobile Build 14328 for Insider Express members. This build version is only slightly higher than the previous version, so Mobile Build does not bring much new content. But this is a major update for PC Build, bringing a host of new features and improvements, including Windows Ink, an update start menu, and more.

Microsoft also reminded Insider users that this PC Build is not perfect enough to switch to a slow channel if you are concerned. For all of these preview Build updates, it is recommended that users do not install on production devices. Windows 10 PC Build 14328 update: Windows Ink At the Build 2016 conference, Microsoft showed you the Windows Ink feature and said that this feature will be used in the next Windows 10 first anniversary update. Starting with today's Build 14328, Microsoft has added support for Windows Ink. This feature allows you to experience the same realities on Windows as writing on paper. You can write notes, draw whiteboards and share them at any time, and integrate with map apps, Edge browsers, Office, and more. For devices such as surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, the stylus is already supported, and Windows Ink will be included, and the system will automatically start for the user. For devices that don't support the stylus, you can experience this new experience by selecting “Show Windows Ink Workspace button in the taskbar right-click menu. Optimized Start Menu In this release, we've optimized the Start menu so that you can find all of your applications more efficiently, while also making Windows look more consistent on different platforms. Specific improvements include merging common application lists, all application lists into a single view, and placing them at the top left of the start menu, reducing click and scroll operations. Some important features such as power, settings, file manager, etc. are placed on the far left. Updated the recently added section to display three entries and expand the list of installations for new apps. In the new design, any folder displayed on the Start menu will appear as soon as it is selected (Settings > Personalization > Start as document or image), no need to click on the burger menu to access. Tablet mode improvements Tablet mode improvements can make better use of screen space, making the tablet mode more immersive. Start Menu All application lists are now available in full screen mode. The taskbar is automatically hidden in tablet mode. A more perfect Microsoft Cortana lock screen directly accesses Cortana, and users can ask Cortana to get an immersive Cortana experience without unlocking the device. But for those sensitive issues and opening application issues, Cortana will need you to unlock your computer. Two new reminders have been added: In order to make it easier for users to add reminders, Microsoft Xiaona now has two new ways to add reminders. You can create a photo reminder to complete by taking a photo. Or you can create reminders from the sharing feature in the UWP app. For example: You can share an article with Xiaona, and then let Xiaona remind you to read this article. Cortana cross-device features: This feature does not support Build 14295, which you can use to synchronize content with your PC on today's new Mobile Build. For example, to remind the phone to low battery on the PC, you can also order Cortana to find and dial the phone. Better use of Cortana: From this version, you can use Microsoft Xiaona without logging in to your account or not setting it up. The goal is to let more people discover the convenience of Xiaona. You can quickly ask Microsoft Xiaona if you are not logged in: "How good is the Win10 home" and then open a web search. When you want Microsoft Xiaona to help you more, you must log in to Microsoft Xiaona, so you can personally customize your Microsoft Xiaona! More optimized file search: You can now quickly search all the files on your computer and Onedrive through Microsoft Xiaona. You can search for articles, pictures, music, and videos. Action Center and Notification Improvements New Notification Center Location: After voting, the Notification Center was moved to the far right of the taskbar for easy access. We added a small number to the notification center icon, and now you can clearly see how many unread messages you have. A new visual change: We've optimized the way the app is displayed in the notification center, the notification for the same app, and the app's icon will not be displayed multiple times. This optimization allows the notification center to display more content. Microsoft Xiaona's new way of reminding: We have added a new Xiaona reminder way, so that she can better display the content she wants to inform you. Customize your quick action: You can now add, remove, and re-lay out the quick actions of your notification center. You can select these settings in the Settings > System > notifications. You can easily drag and drop these quick notifications to determine their location. Below the drag area you can see an option to delete or close certain notifications. Wi-Fi Quick Action Correction: In order to prevent users from continuing to be confused by the meaning of the Wifi icon, we decided to modify the Wifi Quick Action button to click to open the Wifi List page. New taskbar Optimized calendar: In this update, we optimized the calendar view. You can see your schedule very easily through the calendar. You can also add a trip using the + button in the top right corner. Clocks are displayed on all displays: Since the taskbar was created, the taskbar's experience on multiple screens is without a clock. In this version, we are honored to announce that we have finally added an improvement to the multi-screen taskbar display clock. If your taskbar selection is always displayed, then you will be able to see the clock. The UWP app displays the number of notifications on the taskbar: From now on, you can see the number of notifications for the UWP app on the taskbar. The number of these notifications is small and succinct, showing the number of messages each application needs to tell you; the alarm app shows you whether there is an alarm setting, and the weather app shows if there is a weather warning in your area. You can quickly open the settings app from the taskbar: From now on, as soon as you right click on the taskbar, you can quickly open the settings app. Also, these setup projects Microsoft Xiaona also learned! Multi-player device selection: In this update, we have added a playback device selection option. You can quickly select the device you want to play from the speaker icon on the taskbar. Optimized settings app Each setting option has an icon: In this version of the update, we have added a separate icon for each setting. If you attach these tiles to the Start menu, they will also appear on the Start menu. At the same time, in order to facilitate the user to search for the required setting options, we have added an option prompt when the user is searching. Updated the stylus settings page: In this version of the update, we optimized the stylus settings page, where we supported the stylus definition shortcuts. You can choose to press a button on the pen to open a particular app. We also added the option to ignore the touch when the stylus is detected, giving you a more perfect stylus experience. App reset page: In this release, we have added the option to reset the app. When an application has a problem, you can choose to reset the application to delete all the configuration files in the application and then re-use the application. It should be noted that not all applications support this option. This option is currently under test, please try it carefully. Windows Insider settings page: We moved the Windows Insider settings page out of the advanced update settings, so you can go directly to the Insider Preview option via the Settings menu and select the channel you want to go. The mobile version does not require any Windows Insider app to join the Insider update after the 14327 update. Switching Virtual Desktops Using the Trackpad We have added support that allows users to quickly switch virtual desktops using trackpad gestures. These poses can be found in the Windows 10 Starter app. Optimized lock screen experience Mail will not be displayed on the lock screen: In order to protect user privacy, we will cancel the option to display the mail on the lock screen. Users can choose to continue to open the mail display in System Settings > Privacy. Control music on the lock screen: For user convenience, the Media Control Center will now display in the lower right corner of the screen. At the same time, the music album picture played will also be displayed. New UAC, Personal Information Verification Interface In this update, we have added a new interface that displays user information. Users can choose to log in with WIndows Hello, Pin or simple password. At the same time, the UAC interface has been optimized, and finally got rid of the interface of the Win7 era. The new Skype UWP app With this update, you can use the new Skype UWP app. You can also use group messages and group videos or phone calls. New File Explorer icon Windows Insider users love to see new icons, and of course we won't let everyone down. In this update, we added a new File Explorer icon to make it more compliant with the entire Windows 10 style. Of course, if you are careful, you will find that green still exists on this icon. The development team is wondering if this color is going to be taken out. This icon is designed to meet the existing folder yellow, while retaining the original classic. Just right into the new chart. The File Explorer will no longer be fixed by default on the taskbar: the user can confidently choose whether to pin it to the taskbar. Users are also welcome to feedback their ideas in the Windows Feedback app
