Windows7 users' response to Windows10 free upgrade: not so excited

Computer Store News: In the first half of this year, Microsoft announced that all Windows 7/8.1 users can upgrade to Windows 10 for free, which makes everyone stunned. After all, selling the system is a major source of income for the company. Even so, it seems that Windows 7 users are not flustered by this free new system. Related data surveys show that the number of users upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is not high. Let us look back to July, when Windows 10 was released, when Windows 7 had a market share of 60.73%.

In June, the market share of Windows 7 was about 61%. It can be seen that the Windows 10 free upgrade seems to be of little use.

By the time of August, the arrival of Windows 10 brought a little impact to Windows 7, and the system share fell to 56.11%. Since then, it has fallen 56.53% and 55.71% in September and October respectively.

Perhaps when people think that Windows 10 will slowly eat away Windows 7 market share, the latter gave a counterattack with actual actions - in November, Windows 7 market share rebounded to 56.11 %.

Overall, the arrival of Windows 10 only caused a loss of 4.62 percent for Windows 7. However, due to the 30-day downgrade, the next step for Windows 10 is not optimistic.
