Win10 Mobile version of the Universal Office application is updated

Computer Store News: Today Microsoft has pushed the Win10 Mobile 10136 Express Edition update, and the Microsoft Universal Office Suite application has also received a minor update. The Universal Office application is likely to represent the future of Windows Office productivity. These applications will span multiple Platforms and devices maintain the integrity of their productivity capabilities.

The current generic Office app is equivalent to a smaller version of the full Office 365 suite, and some of the power in the Office 365 suite app is still missing in the Universal Office app. Macro commands in Excel and dictionary or dictionary features in Word are likely to continue to be exclusive to the Office 2016 Preview app by the Office 365 app. But for moderate users who use Office on tablets, smartphones, and desktops, the capabilities of the Universal Office app are more than adequate.

The update for this generic Office app is:

Icon changes for the suite app —— The new icon fits better with Windows 10's minimalist flat design.

Colorful icons —— Some icons add a colorful visual effect.

Removing the top bar —— removed the top bar from the previous Universal Office app, giving Office a more streamlined look.

Username display —— If the user is logged into a Microsoft account, the user name will be displayed in the top right corner of each Office app. Clicking on the username will display the quick account option.

The Office team may add more features that users need for the Universal Office suite in the coming days, while also ensuring functional differences with the Office 365 suite app. Sex, of course, will also introduce some of the necessary quick features for tablets, mobile phones and desktop users.

The new Office Universal app is available for download in the Microsoft Windows Store.
