Microsoft officially released Office 2016 public preview version

Computer Store News: Microsoft announced the new Office 2016 public preview version at the Ignite 2015 conference on May 4th, which is now available for download and installation. The Office 2016 suite was previously only tested for Office 365 subscribers, and today the preview test is finally open to the public.

It is reported that the Office2016 public preview includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Lync (Skype Enterprise Edition), Publisher and Access, Visio and Project. All ordinary consumers can download the Office2016 public preview through Microsoft's official channel.

New Office2016 features include:

Cloud Service Enhancement: Access to your files from any location, any device, Outlook support for OneDrive attachments and automatic permission settings.

Collaboration: Real-time multiplayer collaboration.

Smart Apps: Applications will support the Tell Me Feature Assistant, Clutter Mailbox Cleanup, Insights to find relevant information and more.

Data analysis is faster and simpler: Excel has built-in new analysis capabilities to pull, analyze, and visualize data.

New IT features: security controls (data loss protection, information rights management, Outlook multi-factor authentication), more flexible deployment and management solutions.

Office 2016 is the next generation of Office, and the official version will be available later this year. The new kit adds some new add-ons and also adjusts the UI to fit a separate color scheme for each app, much like the Office Universal app. Friends who want to try the new Office 2016 preview can click to download.
