Microsoft updated the new rendering engine for the Win10 browser Sparta

Computer Store News: Although Windows 10 Build 10041 does not include the Spartan browser, Microsoft has updated the new rendering engine of the Win10 browser Sparta, bringing some new features and improvements.

The detailed features are as follows:

Improve ECMAScript 6 compatibility (up to 74% for the preview version of the Kangax ES6 compatibility test)

Support DOM L3 XPath

Support WAI-ARIA Signpost Role

Support CSS Conditional Rules

Support Network Audio API

Support CSS Gradient Midpoint (ie Color Tips)

Improved FeBlend mode support

Support for touch event APIs and related interoperability improvements. A touch screen is triggered to detect a touch event, which can be turned on via the logo page (about:flags).

In addition, some features are only partially implemented and are being tested in Internet Explorer via a logo page. These features are being actively developed and Microsoft will provide an improved version in a future preview.

HTML5 date related input API (Date-Related Inputs is off by default);

partial support for CSS transitions and animations (SVG elements);

CSS is provided in the logo page Filter API switching, but Build 10041 has not yet implemented this feature.
