BBC will discuss with Microsoft the possibility of developing Win10 cross-device applications

Computer Store News: There have been reports that the BBC News app has recently undergone major updates to provide a better & personalized business, but the app is only available on iOS and Android platforms. During the release of this new app, the BBC specifically mentioned that there is currently no plan to log in to Windows Phone.

Yesterday, the BBC discussed feedback from the app publishing community. In the subsequent blog post, they highlighted a lot of comments and questions saying why they didn't release the Windows app. The BBC is now responding to this, saying they will discuss with Microsoft the possibility of developing a common application on a variety of different Windows 10 devices.

At the Windws conference last week, we saw the opportunity to launch cross-device applications, and we will discuss this with Microsoft.
