WP8.1 file manager, is it necessary to be more open?

Computer Store News: Microsoft released the WP8.1 official file management application at the end of May. There may be many people who want to have file management from the WP7 era. Now WP8.1 devices can directly manage documents, multimedia, copy and paste files on mobile phones.

But well-known Windows Phone developer Justin Angel said that everyone wants full-featured file management, just like the Windows 7 desktop manager, which can access all the files in the system. Justin Angel worked at Microsoft and Nokia before. Now he is a Windows Phone developer at Apple, mainly developing the WP version of the Beats app.

I understand that developers and hackers want to port files and .dll files with high permissions, but I don’t think users want Windows Phone 8.1 to be so open. The WP system will face security issues. Most people just expect that the phone can run reliably. By the way, Microsoft can solve some bugs in WP8 storage, such as “other” and occupancy duplication.
