Microsoft repair program exposed Win8.1 Update new version number

Computer shop news: Today, the foreign MSMVPS blog introduced, Microsoft quietly updated the Win8.1 Update KB2919355 offline patch package download page. This time, Microsoft brought a clearcompressionflag.exe fix to help Win8.1 users successfully upgrade to the Win8.1 Update platform.

As a result, Microsoft's fix is still ineffective.

According to the MSMVPS blog, the fix was produced by the Microsoft Development Team and can fix the Win8.1 Update upgrade failure error code, but it was not what it was.

On the Microsoft Win8.1 Update independent patch download page, a new clearcompressionflag.exe fix has been added. The IT home also downloaded the fix in time and found another mystery. Refer to the following figure:

The version of the clearcompressionflag.exe fixer is 6.3.9600.17109, compiled in 2014. April 27, from Microsoft's Windows development department. Judging from the version number, the fix version is much higher than the 6.3.0600.17039 version of Win8.1 Update itself.

Considering that the fix is produced by Microsoft Windows Development, the department will also be responsible for developing Win8.1 Update2, so the 6.3.9600.17109 version number is likely to be patched in May. Push upgrades on the day.
