OneDrive Synchronized Shared Folders has been extended to Win10 and other platforms

  

Computer Store News: Recently, Microsoft has added a new feature to OneDrive Cloud Storage Service. Most Windows platform versions of OneDrive users will soon be available. The "OneDrive" user on other platforms syncs the content in the cloud shared folder. Microsoft has started an update push for this feature today, but it may take a few days to reach every user around the world.


Microsoft says:

How does it work? We have added a new feature called "Add to My OneDrive" on OneDrive, regardless of Whether you use OneDrive on a webpage or in a mobile app, you will see this option when browsing content shared by others.

Clicking on “Add to My OneDrive" will add the folder to your OneDrive. From now on, whenever you browse your OneDrive, you can see all the shared folders you have added before. In the sync function, when you select a folder to sync, you will see all the shared folders that you have added. After selecting the folders you want to share, they will be automatically synced to your PC or Mac.

This feature is available for Windows Vista/Win7/Win8/Win10 and Mac OS users. Currently Microsoft has started pushing, but it will take several days to reach every user in the world. For Windows 8.1 users, Microsoft said they must upgrade to Windows 10 before launching the new OneDrive sync feature.
