Microsoft will shoot documentaries for Atari 2600

Computer Store News: Now, in order to seize the living room market, Microsoft has begun to focus more on film production with Xbox One or Xbox 360 as the playback platform. Following the exposure of Halo, the company revealed that they will launch the Atari 2600 game series documentary. It is reported that the Atari 2006 series documentary is produced by Lightbox Production Company, which will become the world's first and most weird event to review the video game field.

In 1982, game maker Atari received a lot of negative comments for "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and decided to bury it in the dump site in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The documentary filmmaker will dig up the landfill next year and film it as part of the documentary.

This series of documentaries will be exclusively distributed on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2014.
