Microsoft wants to stop pirating Windows 7

Computer store news: Although Microsoft has launched several offensives against pirated Windows in the past, it is not easy to completely eliminate it in a short period of time. Especially in China, the use of pirated software and operating systems has become a habit.

However, regardless of whether it is obviously inappropriate, according to foreign media reports, Microsoft recently passed the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) to a series of websites that provide pirated Windows ISO download links and share seeds. Personal blogs have filed complaints.

It is reported that Microsoft’s complaints are mainly directed at the Windows 7 system. At present, there are hundreds of websites and personal blogs that have entered Microsoft’s blacklist. Of course, it is not realistic to completely ban these links for a short period of time, and if not unexpected, they will soon appear online again.

According to statistics, Windows 7 is currently the Windows system with the highest piracy rate. Windows 8 uses a new OA 3.0 technology to prevent traditional activation cracking, so there is no large-scale piracy. Therefore, for Microsoft, in the future, to prevent piracy, it is still more work on anti-piracy mechanisms.
