Windows 8 PC market performance will be better in 2013

Computer Store News: Since Microsoft released Windows 8, Acer CEO Wang Zhentang has been very vocal about this new system. And just today, the CEO seems to have changed his position. It is reported that Wang Zhentang said in an interview with FoxBusiness.com that he believes that Win8's current market opportunities are much better than before, especially after this year's Q2.

Of course, Wang Zhentang did not explain the specific reasons for his sharp turn. It is speculated that this is likely to stem from Microsoft's price reduction for Win8 PC licensing. Wang Zhentang pointed out that although he believes that Windows8 notebooks will usher in growth in 2013, Acer's growth figures will only have single digits. In addition, he also revealed that Acer will release the company's financial report in Q4 2012 on March 19.
