Recently, Baidu Statistics launched the Traffic Research Institute. There are currently four reports online: browser market share, operating system market share, resolution usage and geographical distribution of netizens; In the middle, we can find answers to many questions of concern, such as the current share of domestic operating systems, browser shares, etc.

Now let's interpret the share of the domestic mainstream operating system. Naturally, it is the world of Microsoft Windows. So how do the new and old exchanges of XP and Win7 go? From Baidu's statistics, the domestic operating system share XP dominates, and Windows7 is steadily rising, approaching the 20% mark.

Baidu statistics relies on users' use of Baidu search engine, such as Win7's share statistics, which is based on the number of times Baidu search uses Win7 users as statistics. In Win7 system, every time you use Baidu, it is once, not every time. Personally count once.

From October 2010 to March 2012, for the statistical period, Win7 occupies 17.29%, and XP occupies 78.44% (that is, Baidu search is used 10 times each time. About 8 times is from the XP system). From the perspective of the trend of the proportion of Win7 usage, Win7 market share is steadily rising.
