Android tablet CPU overclocking skills

The author's Android system tablet brain has been used for some time, the tablet is very portable, outdoor use is very convenient, but due to hardware architecture limitations, tablet performance is still not high, once Running a high-load program, the speed will become very slow. In fact, like a notebook, the tablet can also greatly increase the speed of the Android tablet through the overclocking CPU.

1, using SetCPU software for overclocking to overclock the CPU of the Android tablet computer, you need to choose a software for the right way. Here, the SetCPU software is taken as an example, which can lock the CPU running frequency of the Android tablet to the set value, thereby achieving overclocking purposes.

2. Select “Custom Frequency” to load SetCPU software into the tablet. After running, select “Custom Frequency” and click “OK” button. At this time, the screen will be black, press “Home” and press to return. Just fine. If the system does not respond, you need to press the shutdown button to shut down, then restart the tablet.

3. Set the maximum and minimum values of the frequency to run SetCPU software again, and switch to the “Main Interface” window. At this time, you can adjust the maximum and minimum CPU frequency as needed. Take the author's Taipower T720 as an example. The tablet uses a 660MHz CPU. After testing, the highest value can be set to 750MHz, the lowest value is set to 125MHz, and then “Setup Startup” is checked.

4. Select the corresponding working mode to enter the “Scenario” interface, set the working mode when charging to “Minimum”, and set the working mode to “Highest” when using, so that the CPU will work when charging. In the 125MHz energy-saving mode, when playing games, the CPU will automatically switch to the 750MHz high-performance mode.

5. Use Widget to overclock the tablet. If you are not used to using SetCPU software, you can also use Widget software to overclock the CPU. After running the Widget software, click the "OK" button. Press and hold the "Home" button at the top left of the screen, then select the "Overclocking widget" icon to set the CPU frequency as needed. Enter the "Advanced Settings" interface, you can also customize the CPU operating frequency when the screen is turned on and off.

The CPU overclocking method described above is also suitable for use on other Android platform tablets, and has universality. But like overclocking on a computer, overclocking a tablet is equally risky. If the frequency is too high, the tablet will have problems such as abnormal operation and crash. If there is instability, you should reduce the frequency in time. After all, stable operation is more important.
