1, press "Win key + R" to open the running window, (or directly in the "Search" box) enter gpedit.msc and press Enter Key, then open the Group Policy Settings window.

2. Open User Configuration→Administrative Templates→Windows Components→Windows Explorer, and select the “Close Display of Recent Search Entries in Windows Explorer Search Box” item in the right pane. Finally, double-click the project to open the properties window.


3. Under the "Properties" window, select "Enabled" and click "OK" to enable this function. If you search for records under Windows 7, you won't stay any longer.

In the search bar of the start menu, type "regedit" to open the registry, which is found in the registry as follows Key-value: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerWordWheelQuery, delete the name of the right sub-item except the default item.
