Hard disk read and write speed slowdown solution (1)

I recently found that my hard disk read and write speed has become very slow, hard disk read and write speed is slow, there may be system problems, hard disk bad sectors or other The reason is, let's take a look at how the author solves the problem that the hard disk read/write speed is slow:

1, first enter the system to clean up the junk files in this disk, click the "Start" button, and pop up In the "Start" menu, select "All Programs" → "Accessories" → "System Tools" → "Disk Cleanup" menu item.

2, the "Select Drive" dialog box will pop up, select the drive to be cleaned in the "Drive" drop-down list, select the "C:" option here, and then click the "OK" button.

3, the "Disk Cleanup" dialog box will pop up, and the disk cleaning software will start to calculate the space that can be released in the C partition.

4. When the calculation is completed, the “C: Disk Cleanup” dialog box will pop up, and then select the file to be deleted check box in the “Files to be deleted” list. Here, select “Internet Temporary Files” and “ Check boxes such as Recycle Bin "Temporary Files".

5. Click the "OK" button, the "C: Disk Cleanup" dialog box will pop up, and then click the "Y" button to bring up the "Disk Cleanup" dialog box. The selected file is cleaned up, and the dialog box will close automatically after cleaning.

6. After cleaning the junk files, the read and write speed of the hard disk is still very slow. At this time, you can use anti-virus software to detect whether the system is infected with viruses.

7. After testing, the system is not infected with viruses, so you should find the reason from the hard disk itself.

8. Run HD Tune software to enter the main interface, then check the data transfer rate of the hard disk, and find that only 3.2MB/s, switch to the "Error Scanning" tab, click the "Start" button to scan the hard disk. As a result, no bad sectors were found.

9, at this time should be suspected to be a hardware problem, remove the hard disk from the chassis and carefully observe, check the hard disk interface and circuit board is damaged, found that the hard disk IDE interface has a pin The roots got stuck, and it was preliminarily concluded that the fault was caused by pin sag.
10, use a hex driver to remove the hard drive's circuit board from the disk, and then use the tweezers to gently pull out the pin in the IDE interface to restore the position.

11. Use a soldering iron to solder the connection point of this pin to the board. Do not solder the solder to other places while soldering.

12. Re-fix the board to the disk, and correctly install the hard disk into the chassis, restart the computer, and read the data again to find that the data read and write speed has returned to normal.

After determining that the hard disk read/write speed is slower because it is not caused by software, we must suspect that the hard disk read/write speed is slow due to the hard disk's own fault.
