An accidental operation error, I deleted the recycle bin icon in the Windows Server 2008 system desktop. I originally hoped that by opening the display property window of the system desktop, I found the setting options related to the recycle bin icon and modified them to solve the problem. However, when I right-clicked the Windows Server 2008 system desktop, I found the right button that popped up. There is no "property" command in the menu at all. So how do I get the lost recycle bin icon to reappear on the system desktop? In fact, in the Windows Server 2008 system environment, we can follow the steps below to retrieve the lost recycle bin. First, right-click on the blank area in the Windows Server 2008 system desktop, and select the “Personalization” option from the pop-up shortcut menu to open the localization window of the local system;

Next, click the “Change Desktop Icon” option in the list area on the left side of the settings window to open the desktop icon setting window (as shown in Figure 1). In the “Desktop Icon” list of the window, we find the Recycle Bin option. It has been unchecked, which is why the icon does not appear on the system desktop. At this point, we can re-select the Recycle Bin option and click the "OK" button, so that the lost Recycle Bin icon will reappear on the Windows Server 2008 system desktop.
