1. Start the program: In the windows2000 environment, click "Start -> Run", type snmputilg in the edit box and press Enter or click "OK".

2. Unlike the previous ones, Snmputilg.exe is a graphical interface tool. Although you can use the command line control window to open it when you execute the program, the interface that appears after the actual startup is still the graphics.

3. After the tool is started, the default editback address is displayed in the Node edit box. The address value is 127.0.0.1; the Current OID refers to the "current object identifier", which is used in the Windows system. To represent the number of an object, each identifier is unique within the entire system, that is, the logo does not and does not allow duplicates. The values ​​shown in the figure are .1.3.6.1.2.1. 4. If you choose another system's IP address, you must run the SNMP service, and the target system must be configured with the network access address, the so-called configuration, including address settings and permissions open. 5.
