Installing Vista and XP

in the same partition There are three folders "documents and settings, programe files, Windows" in Vista and XP. They all have the same name in both Vista and XP. Not only are the duplicate names of these files caused the previous system to be overwritten, resulting in the system not functioning properly. Then what is our specific solution?
First of all, let's just click. Convert all partitions to NTFS format. For our installation to be unaffected, we'd better compare the system selections. Then modify the two files;
We want to modify the two files "winnt.sif" and "HIVESFT.INF" files, if we install Vista and XP in the same partition, in order to prevent their conflicts from affecting the normal work of the system . We can modify the XP directory.
1. Modify the "winnt.sif" file
Open the "winnt.sif" file on the desktop with Notepad, find "[Unattended]" in the file and change the "TaragePath=\\Windows" under it to TaragePath=\\XP\\Windows, at the same time add ComonProgramFilesDir="\\XP\\programefiles\\common" and save it.
2. Modify "HIVESFT.INF"
Also in the same directory as "HIVESFT.INF" file, find the "HIVESFT.INF" file and find "DEFAULT_PROFILRS_DIR="%SystemDrire%Documents and Settings" DEFAULT_PROFILRS_DIR=”%SystemDrire%Documents and Settings” is modified to “DEFAULT_PROFILRS_DIR=”%SystemDrire%\\XP\\Documents and Settings. Then burn to the disc.
Many friends may have found that there is nothing special about adding something to XP. Why should you know that joining everyone? It is such a simple principle but it can help us solve big problems. “winnt.sif” is an automatic installation configuration response file for XP system. In order to prevent file conflicts between Vista and XP, you can easily avoid this problem.
3. Finally install XP and Vista
Create a folder X:\\XP and X:\\Vista in the system disk (X: is the system disk).
This way we can avoid such a problem: three folders "documents and settings, programe files, Windows" are the same name in both Vista and XP. Ok, so much, and how to set it up. How to set it up.
