Ghost backup Windows XP can't find it?

Q: My system is Windows xp sp2 version. After I installed my commonly used software, I used 12.8G for the c drive. In order to avoid unexpected situations in the system, I will back up this system under ghost. , backed up in a file format is the F partition of the NTFS format. The backup process went smoothly, and finally prompted me to back up successfully.

After I started the system, I went to the F area to find this backup file, but I could not find it. Other areas did not have this backup file.

I entered the ghos software, I want to restore the system, I still can't find this backup file.

What is going on here? If the backup is successful, where did the backup file go? How can I find this backup file? If the backup is not successful, how can the backup be truly successful? I am manually backing up.

Answer: The root cause of the problem: GHOST has compatibility issues in NTFS.

The specific performance is:

1. In the case of hard disk format NTFS, whether it is 8.3 or 8.2 version, after successful backup, if you do not press QUIT to exit, directly CTRL ALT DEL exit, There will be a loss of backup files, but the space is occupied for no reason.

2, in the FAT32 format, no matter how to exit after the backup, there will be no file loss.

It is recommended that you back up in the NTFS format in the future.

Run the chkdsk drive letter: /f, you can retrieve the gho file.

Select the disk to put the backup, right-attribute-tool-check-error-check the automatic repair file system error (or both options are selected), well, start checking, wait for everything to finish, open the disk, day!!! backup file Come out!!!!!

Note: If you are doing a disk file system check, you can't make an exclusive access, ask if you want to check it at boot time, select Yes, restart the computer. , the disk will be checked, the effect is the same as above, the problem is solved.
