1.1 Uninstall Win2000/XP/2003 in multi-system

To completely remove Win 2000/XP/2003 from multiple systems Leave the Win9X/Me system and follow the instructions below.

1. If the installation partitions of multiple operating systems are FAT32 partitions, you can delete Win2000/XP/2003 Windows or Winnt, Program Files and Documents and Settings directories directly under Win9X/Me, and then delete C. The following files on the disk: ntldr, ntdetect.com, boot.ini, ntbootdd.sys (if you have a SCSI device) and bootfont.bin, and finally boot the computer with the Windows 9X/Me boot CD, execute the command: "a:\\ Sys c:" can completely uninstall WinXP.

1. If your Win9X/Me is installed in a partition other than C, you can directly format the partition where Win9X/Me is located. .

2. If your Win9X/Me is installed on the C drive, you can't format it. You can only enter Win2000/XP/2000 system, and all the Win98 under the Windows, Program Files and root directories of the C drive. Boot files, including io.sys, msdos.sys, command.com, autoexec.bat, and config.sys, are all removed. Be careful not to delete the ntldr, ntdetect.com, boot.ini, ntbootdd.sys, and bootfont.bin files.

3. After formatting or deleting the Win9X/Me file, in order to cancel the dual system boot menu, we also need to modify the boot.ini file, enter "attrib" in the "Start" menu → "Run" c:\\boot.ini -r -s -h" and press Enter to remove the boot.ini file system, read-only, hidden properties, then enter the C drive, double-click to open the boot.ini file, delete "multi(0)disk( 0) rdisk(0)partition(2)\\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows 98" /fastdetect" or "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows ME" /fastdetect" This line is saved and modified. Then type "attrib c:\\boot.ini +r +s +h" in "Run" and press Enter to set back to the system, hidden and read-only properties, and you're done.
