If your computer does not have an automatic login network connection, you must open the network connection and dial-up connection window to connect to the Internet every time you access the Internet. Sometimes when we go online, we suddenly find that the tray on the lower right side of the desktop is gone. The first time we reacted is that the local connection is broken. Actually it is not. What is the cause? How to solve it?

Also right click on the [Network Neighborhood] icon to open the network connection, check whether it is in the network connection. Is there a situation where [Local Area Connection] is disabled? Generally, it is disabled because gray. The easiest way to enable it is to simply right-click on the gray local connection and select Enable. As shown below:

If the local connection is lost due to NIC driver failure or disabling NIC device

The solution is as follows:

1. The check method is also simple, open the device Manager, click to open [Network Adapter] under Computer Manager to check if there is a red fork on the network card. If there is a red fork, right click on the network card and select Enable. As shown below:

2. If there is a yellow question mark here, or a yellow exclamation mark, it means that the NIC driver is not installed. Personally, you can use the driver wizard extension to update the NIC driver.
