(1) notepad.exe

is the notepad program that comes with windows. It is the program that windows uses to open and edit text files by default.

(2) realplay.exe

is a Real Networks related program, Real Player is used to play video files, such as MPEG and AVI.

(3) services.exe

is part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Used to manage start and stop services. The process also handles services that run when the computer starts and shuts down. This program is very important for the normal operation of your system. Note: services may also be w32.randex.r (stored in %systemroot%\\system32\\ directory) and sober.p (stored in %systemroot%\\connection wizard\\status\\ directory) Trojan. The Trojan allows attackers to access your computer and steal passwords and personal data. The security level of this process is recommended to be removed immediately.

(4) smss.exe

is part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. This process invokes the dialog management subsystem and the dialog responsible for operating your system. This program is very important for the normal operation of your system.

Note: smss.exe may also be win32.ladex.a Trojan. The Trojan allows attackers to access your computer and steal passwords and personal data. Please note that the folder where this process is located, the normal process should be under windows system32 and servicepackfiles\\i386.

(5)spoolsv.exe

is used to send windows printer tasks to Local printer.

Note: spoolsv.exe may also be backdoor.ciadoor.b Trojan. The Trojan allows attackers to access your computer and steal passwords and personal data. Please note that the folder where this process is located, the normal process should be under windows system32 and servicepackfiles\\i386. If it appears in the spoolsv directory, it may be some IE plugin files, it is recommended to use anti-spyware to scan.

(6)StarWindService.exe

is Alcohol 120% disc burning software related program. If you want to disable this process: as long as in the alcohol120% option, remove the automatic check current version status item And then “start”-“run”-services.msc, set the process named StarWind iSCSI Service to "disable" in the system service, and will not see the process after reboot.
