. The author uses WinXP+SP2 system. Because the system time of the author is often slow, the system's "time synchronization" function is used (Figure 1). However, the default time synchronization interval for this feature is one week, and the author's system time is much slower a day. You can only double-click the time in the tray area to display the time. After the dialog box appears, manually click the "Update Now" button to achieve "Time Synchronization". Click the "Start" menu, click "Run", open the "Run" dialog box and enter "regedit" (without the quotation marks, as shown in Figure 2), then click "OK" to open the "Registry Editor", positioning Go to the following item (Figure 3) HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE\\SYSTEM\\ControlSet001\\Services\\W32Time\\TimeProviders\\NtpClIEnt, you can see that there is a value of SpecialPollInterval on the right side, this is the interval of "time synchronization", the unit is seconds, double-click it to pop up As shown in the dialog box in Figure 4, click "Decimal" and enter a number, such as 3600, which represents an hour, then click "OK", and finally close the "Registry Editor".
