Let Windows XP really install automatically

Windows XP is simple to use, but the process of installing Windows XP is quite long. Many options need to be selected, and it needs to be restarted frequently, which makes people wait a little impatient. Especially when installing on multiple machines, it is even more troublesome. In fact, we can make a really automatic installation of the CD, just put the CD into the CD-ROM, and use it to start the system can be truly unmanned to complete the installation of the system! Follow me! Copy the installation file Copy all the files and folders on Windows XP to the C:XPSETUP folder. Making Auto Answer Files Many articles have introduced how to create auto answer files. Here I simply mention the steps: first find the Windows XP installation CD and put it into the CD drive; start the "Resource Manager", locate Go to the support ools folder of the installation CD, select the "Deploy.cab" file, double-click and use WinZip to extract all the files to a temporary folder, such as C:XPSETUP folder, then double-click the folder. The Setupmgr.exe file runs the "Windows Installation Manager". This tool generates the Unattend.txt file. When you choose to save the path to the Unattend.txt file, we save it to the C:XPSETUPI386 folder. Create a boot disk first in Windows 98, click "Start → Control Panel → Add /Remove Programs", then select the "Startup Disk" tab in the window that appears, insert a floppy disk in the floppy drive, and put Windows 98 in the CD-ROM drive. Install the CD and click the "Create Boot Disk" button to generate the Windows 98 boot floppy. Modify the self-starting file Copy the two files Himime.sys and Smartdrv.exe from Windows 98 to the boot floppy disk. Also delete the Ebd.cab file on the original boot disk. Use Notepad to open the Config.sys file on the boot floppy disk, delete all the contents of the file, and then add the statement shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Then use Notepad to open the Autoexec.bat file on the boot floppy disk, delete all the contents, and add only the statement shown in Figure 2. The above statement is to automatically load the disk cache driver when the boot disk starts the system. Use this CD to boot the system, and the speed will be greatly improved when Windows 2000/XP is installed under DOS. At the same time, the CD-ROM drive support is also loaded. After booting the system, the last sentence is to install Windows XP with Unattend.txt under I386 as an auto-answer file. Burn from the boot CD Put the boot floppy disk into the floppy drive, run the Nero-Burning Rom burning software, the “New Album” window will appear, select “CD-ROM (bootable)” in the “New Album” dialog box, and select “ Under the "Startup" tab, "Enable expert settings (for advanced users only!)" option, the rest retain the default value, then drag and drop all files under C: XPSETUP to the root directory of the disc, then burn. Automatic installation with CD Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive, restart the computer, press the "Del" button to enter BiOS, set the system to boot from the CD. After that, the disc will automatically boot the machine and press the settings in Unattend.txt for automatic installation of Windows XP. Note: 1. The above is an example of automatically installing Windows XP. For Windows 98 and 2000, the approach is similar. 2, we must pay attention to, in Windows XP copy files to the hard disk, the first time you restart the computer, you must remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive, otherwise the system will still boot from the CD and will cycle the installation process. Figure 2 3. Compared with the Windows XP CD-ROM installation system, the tedious selection process is eliminated, making the installation process easier. 4. This article only discusses the feasibility of automatically installing Windows XP from a technical point of view. Please do not copy the Windows XP installation CD at will.
