Several ways to easily set up the Windows XP desktop

Now more and more friends using the Windows XP operating system, everyone is impressed by her beautiful interface. Here I teach you how to set up the Windows XP interface to set up your own style desktop.

Entering the Windows XP interface is very simple. Right click on the blank space on the desktop and select "Properties" (Figure 1). Windows XP interface settings are divided into five main topics: desktop, screen saver, appearance and settings (Figure 2), you can set according to your actual situation. In the "Theme" setting you can choose your favorite desktop theme, the "theme" in Windows XP is the desktop, wallpaper and mouse pointer used to customize the computer. If you change a desktop theme, the corresponding icons, desktop, sound, and screen saver change (Figure 3).

The "Desktop" option is mainly to set the background, you can choose your favorite picture as the desktop background. If the picture does not have a large desktop, you can adjust it. There are mainly three states of centering, tiling and stretching (as shown in Figure 4), where you can debug according to your actual situation. "Screen Saver" Here you choose your favorite screen saver. The screen saver is actually a kind of computer program. A kind of small program that jumps out to perform strange behavior when you are in a daze on the computer screen. It is not much different from the computer program we run, its main function is to protect the computer screen. In the "Screen Saver" you can choose the time to enter the screen saver, and you can also make a simple setting for the screen saver (if this screen saver can be set) (Figure 5). In addition, the power can be set below, mainly for the sleep function (Figure 6), so that the monitor and hard disk will be protected when the computer is not used, extending their life.

"Appearance" is the setting that comes with the Windows XP operating system. You can adjust the window and buttons here, and you can also choose a color scheme, which has olive green and default (blue). And silver (Figure 7), and can change the size of the font according to the actual resolution.

In the "Settings" option, you can adjust the resolution of the display and the number of digits of the color (Figure 8). The resolution we usually see is multiplied, such as 1024. ×768, where "1024" indicates the number of dots displayed in the horizontal direction on the screen, and "768" indicates the number of dots in the vertical direction. Obviously, the resolution refers to the resolution of the picture, which is composed of how many pixels. The larger the value, the clearer the image. The resolution is not only related to the display size, but also affected by factors such as the pixel pitch and video bandwidth. In general, the 15-inch display setting has a resolution of 800×600, while the 17-inch display has a resolution of 1024×768, which can be debugged according to the actual situation of the display.

Ok, the display settings will be introduced here first. I don't know if you are familiar with it. I hope this article will help you set up the Windows XP interface, so that you can feel the charm of Windows XP as soon as possible. (小新)
