Set disk read and write permissions in Win XP completely block QQ advertising

I believe that QQ users have used plug-ins such as "polyps" to avoid Tencent's boring advertising harassment. If you are using the Windows XP operating system, you can use the disk read and write permissions to completely block the QQ ads invisible, and you can also customize the QQ ads.

Step 1: Tencent QQ is generally installed in the "C:/ProgramFiles/Tencent/QQ" file directory. Open this directory in the Explorer, first double-click to enter the "AD" folder, press "Ctrl+A" "Select all files and press "Shift+Delete" to completely delete all ads. Right-click in the space and choose to execute the "Properties" command.

Step 2: Click the "Security" tab, as shown in the figure, select the user in "Group or User Name" and click the "Delete" button below to delete all users; or, all users Permissions are set to "reject", and click the "Advanced" button, clear the check box "Inherit from the parent those rights items that can be applied to child objects, including those explicitly defined here", then "security" will appear Dialog box, select the "delete" button, and finally confirm the exit.

In this way, the QQ program can't store the downloaded ads on our hard drive, and it disappears completely.

Tip: If you don't find the "Security" tab in your operating system folder properties, go to "Control Panel→Administrative Tools→Local Security Policy" and open "Local Policies→Security Options" on the right. In the window, find the "Network access, local account sharing and security mode" item, double-click to change it to: "Classic - local users authenticate with their own identity."

Step 3: Make your favorite LOGO logo into a "230×30" pixel GIF image, named "ad.gif" and save it in the "DAT" folder under the Tencent QQ installation directory. If the prompt already has the same name file, it will be overwritten. OK, open your QQ now, find a friend to chat, neither advertising harassment, you can see your own LOGO, cool!
