In Windows XP, we right-click on the desktop, in the "Display Properties" window that opens, you can use the "Save As" command to include desktop theme information such as font size, wallpaper, screen saver, etc. Save it up. Moreover, we can also open and import our saved desktop theme files by clicking the "Browse" command under the "Subject" drop-down list box to share the desktop theme with others (Figure 1).

But unfortunately, does not provide such a feature in Windows 2000 "Display Properties" window. However, when I accidentally searched the Windows 2000 installation folder with the theme as the keyword, I found a themes.exe file found in C:\\WINNT\\SYSTEM32. After double-clicking, I found out (as shown in Figure 2). window!
I have researched it like the New World and found that we can also use this program to save and open the current desktop theme that can be realized in Windows XP! To save the theme, just click the "Save As" button. If you want to import the theme on the hard disk, just click the "Subject" drop-down list box and select the "Other" item from it. Moreover, the program allows us to preview screen savers and mouse pointers in the current desktop theme in real time, system-defined sounds, etc., while also allowing us to select the currently open theme to apply the selected settings on Windows, including screen savers, sounds. Events, mouse pointers, desktop wallpapers, icons, colors, font names and styles, and fonts and window sizes give us a lot of usability. If we only select the screen saver, sound event and mouse pointer check box and press the "Apply" or "OK" button, the program will only open the screen saver, sound event and mouse pointer in the currently open theme. The settings are applied to the current Windows.

update worth mentioning that, in the program also provides a "monthly rotation theme" option, checking this box will pop up to let you type in a user name and password in order to run. " In the "Schedule" window, enter the system administrator's username and password. After clicking the "OK" button (Figure 3), Windows will open or existing in the "Subject" drop-down list box every month. Automatic replacement in the theme, let you have a good mood!

So far, we seem to have to think in Windows 2000 theme switching program satisfied. However, don't worry! I made another experiment to save the current theme in Windows 2000 as a theme file with the extension .theme by using the "Save As" button in Figure 2, then switch to Windows XP, and then click on Figure 1 "" The "" option in the drop-down list box opens the theme file saved in Windows 2000 and finds that Windows XP immediately becomes what we look like in Windows 2000! Similarly, I saved the Windows XP theme through the "Save As" button in Figure 1. I found that the program can be imported through Windows 2000. At this point, we can say that we can really achieve between Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The theme is shared!

Of course, clever readers have felt, through the Windows 2000 desktop theme program we can also do the following two things: (1) can be downloaded from the Internet more theme topic, and through it to Loading to Windows 2000 makes our Windows 2000 more colorful; (2) can back up the current theme of Windows 2000 and restore it after reinstalling the operating system or share your theme with others. Of course, in Windows XP, you only need to use the "tour" and "save as" commands in the "Subject" drop-down list box in Figure 1.
