Use the music master housekeeper

that comes with Win XP. I believe that everyone, like me, will try to "due" it to his hard disk when he meets his favorite music while surfing the Internet. Over time, the "Music" folder is filled with all kinds of stuff. Whether it's icons, thumbnails, or detailed information, it's a lot of stuff.

Although each piece is arranged neatly, when we intend to play a certain song, we find that whether it is by name, by size or by modification time, the tricky The guy always refuses to come out easily. Give it a try, can you find the song "Beautiful Mood" from this folder? (See Figure 1.)
Figure 1 In order to solve this problem, we usually create a lot of sub-folders, named after the singer, and then dragged one by one to each folder. The cumbersomeness of doing this is self-evident, imagine what a huge project would be if I had hundreds of songs! And whenever there are new songs to join, you have to do it again. It is also very uncomfortable to frequently switch between folders in use.

a convenient sorting

In fact, Windows XP itself provides a great musical treasure trove Explorer: "folder template", the following will tell you about it.

Right click on the music folder and select "Properties", select "Custom". Select "Music (for audio files and playlists)" in the "Use this folder type as a template" option box.

So our music treasurer started working. As for whether to choose "Apply this template to all subfolders", it will be chosen according to different situations (see Figure 2).

Figure 2
It is not difficult to find that at the top of the top there is a head, which is "name", "size", "artist", "release year" and so on, and each The first songs honestly handed out their resumes and arranged them in a tabular form below the headings. At a glance, clear and clear. Right-click anywhere on the header to select the header item you want to display.

Right-click in the blank space and you can see that there is no longer just a "name" and "size" in the options for arranging icons. Many features that are closely related to the content of the song itself can also be used as a basis for arranging icons. Such as "artist", "record title" and so on.

Tips

When arranging, you must remember to put a tick before the "group by group", so the results will be as good as Figure 3! Problem

Second, there is a format

very important to organize music files have not been treated: There are two types of information in many diehard song, the first one is unknown guy In its message, important content about artists, records, styles, etc. are empty, and even the name is a string of meaningless English letters. There is also a class of information added by a long list of websites, which is very troublesome to find.

To solve this problem, right-click on the "trouble" of the song, open the "Properties Summary", it is displayed all the files (see Figure 3). Here, a piece of music is listed as an attribute item from the artist, the title of the album, the release year, its bit rate, the sampling rate, etc., and the values of these attributes are displayed later. Click on the item values you want to modify, and then write the correct information yourself to let them recover their true appearance!
Figure 3 Finally, tell everyone that in fact, there are many functions of the folder template, I believe that people have long thought of it, using other types of templates in Figure 2, there are many simple and convenient management functions.
