★ Solution after the shutdown button is disabled

Windows 2000 Group Policy can disable the shutdown item of Windows. Enter "gpedit.msc" in the running to open the group policy, open the "Taskbar and "Start Menu" in "Administrative Templates" under "User Configuration" on the left, and select "Disable and Delete 'Shutdown' Command" on the right. In the pop-up dialog box, select "Enable", and then there is no "Shutdown" item in the Start menu. And you can't shut down by other methods. For example, press the key combination "Ctrl+Alt+Del", you can see that the "Shutdown" button in the dialog box has turned gray; press "Alt+F4", a warning will appear: " This operation was cancelled due to the limitations of this computer. Please contact your system administrator. Is it possible to shut down the machine while limiting others?

The method is still there: press the key combination "Ctrl+AIt+Del", select "logout" (if there is a "logout" item in the start menu is more convenient), then the system login window will appear, click "Options", the "Shutdown" item appears, and is available.

★Let the "Control Panel" also open as a resource manager

In Windows 98, "My Computer" and "Control Panel" open without the directory tree on the left Structure, in fact, most users still prefer to use "My Computer" and "Control Panel" in the Explorer style. Click "Start → Settings → Folder Options", the "Folder Options" dialog box will pop up, click the "File Type" tab. Drag the scroll bar in the Registered File Type text box to select the first folder icon. Click the "Edit" button on the right, select "Explorer" in the "Action" column in the next window, click "Set as Default" in the lower right corner, and click "Close" twice to exit the setting. In the future, you can open "My Computer" and "Control Panel" in the form of Explorer.
