Accurate time: increase XP Internet time server

Many friends like to use Windows XP Internet time service (time service is invalid for users who use domain login). However, by default, Windows XP only provides us with two time servers. Once the synchronization is unsuccessful, the choice is too small. In fact, if you really like this feature of Windows XP, you can manually add Internet time server to it by yourself, so that when the default Internet time server is not working properly, you can try other servers to avoid unsuccessful synchronization. .

Click "Start → Run", type "Regedit" and press Enter, open the Registry Editor, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE\\SOFT-WARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\DateTime\\Servers branch, under it Create three new "string values", then rename them 3, 4, and 5 respectively, and set their corresponding "value data" to "time-nw.nist.gov" and "time-a.nist." Gov", "time-b.nist.gov". You can also change the "numeric data" of the default string above to the name of your favorite Internet time server. For example, "5" means "time-b.nist.gov" by default.

After closing the registry editor, double-click the time display area in the lower right corner of the taskbar, open the "Date and Time Properties" window, switch to the "Internet Time" tab, click the server list, and click on the drop-down window. There will be five time server addresses as shown. Click on any address to synchronize time.
