        Tip 1: Temporarily hide unused strategies

In the "Run" of the "Start" menu, enter "gpedit.msc" to open the Group Policy Editor, select a directory in the left pane, right click, select "View → Filter" command in the pop-up shortcut menu to open "Filter" dialog box, on this dialog, we can choose the Group Policy Editor to display only the configured policies, or you can select the Group Policy Editor to display only the policies for specific software, as shown in Figure 1, we can choose Only policies that can be managed by Windows XP Professional or higher.

Tip 2: Disable the User Configuration or Computer Configuration policy

The policies in the Group Policy Editor fall into two categories: computer configuration and user configuration. If you want to know how many of these two types of policies are configured in the current system, or if you want to hide one of them, you can use this method: open the Group Policy Editor and right click on the left pane of the directory tree. The root directory "Local Computer Policy", then select "Properties" on the pop-up shortcut menu to open the "Local Computer Policy Properties" dialog box, the "Create" column on the dialog box shows the time generated by the Group Policy Management Unit. In general, it is the installation time of the operating system; while "Modify" shows the time when the group policy was last set; the "Revision" column shows how many strategies are configured in each of these two categories; if you If you want to hide one of these strategies here, you can check the corresponding checkbox below the dialog.

Tip 3: Edit Group Policy for Remote Computers

Group Policy can be edited not only locally but also remotely. On the "Start" menu, click "Run", enter "mmc" to open the MMC console (Microsoft Management Console), by default, the MMC console creates and opens a "Console 1" file, controlled in MMC Select the “File→Add/Remove Snap-in” command from the menu bar of the desk, open the “Add/Remove Snap-in” dialog box, click “Add” on the dialog box, and select “On the pop-up stand-alone management unit list dialog box”. Clicking OK after selecting will open the group policy for that remote computer in Console 1. Now, with this console file we can edit the group policy of the remote computer.
