Address Bar Positioning

There is an address bar in the Explorer. When we open a folder, the current folder path is displayed in the input box of the address bar. At this time, if you input the "\\" after positioning the input cursor to the path of this folder, the files and folders in this folder will be displayed in a list, and then enter w to display the files and folders starting with w (as shown in the figure). 1).

You can use the mouse
click to open or use the down arrow to select Enter to open. Of course, you can also enter more words to directly find the corresponding file. For example, if you type \\Win, you can list the files and folders that start with Win.

Locating by name

After opening the folder, click inside the folder, then press the w key on the keyboard, the system will The first folder or file starting with w is automatically selected. Pressing the w button repeatedly selects the 2nd, 3rd... folders or files starting with w.

Below, some hardcore users don't necessarily know.

If you type win, you can jump directly to the first folder or file that starts with win. Of course, you can type more words to position them more accurately. However, be aware that the continuous input speed must be fast. If it is too slow, win will be divided into 3 independent operations, and the result will only locate the file at the beginning of n. You can also type Chinese directly to select the file that starts with the corresponding Chinese text.

If you are in the folder tree on the left, type w after expanding the folder to locate the subfolder at the beginning of w in the selected folder. This method is also effective when looking up a program on the desktop or in the start menu.
