Just cleared the startup items of the rogue software, and there are other work to be done, because the rogue software has changed the default information of many systems. In the "File Association" tab, SREng detects that the file associations of the .CHM and .HLP files are modified (Figure 3), showing an error flag. Select these two error associations and click the "Repair" button to auto-recover.

In addition, the browser add-on is a self-loading method used by most current "rogue software". Since the browser add-in is registered in the system, it is very clear by hand. Difficult and prone to system instability. Now remove the selected rogue software by selecting the rogue software option in the "Browser Add-ons" list and clicking the "Delete Selected" button (Figure 4). In addition, this rogue software has also falsified the browser's default home page and or search engine, which was immediately fixed by the features in the Windows Shell, Internet Explorer and other options. Eventually this damn rogue software was completely removed from the system.
