Windows7 and XP dual systems are installed to a partition

                  Online said that the installation of these two systems to a partition is not applicable. Yesterday I continued to install the system for more than 6 hours, finally found a successful method.
Of course, first prepare two system files, windows7 and XP two systems, XP is best ISO file, because you want to modify the file.
1, modify the XP installation path.
First extract the XP system to the other disk in the C drive, find the I386 folder.
Find the WINNT.SIF file in I386, open it with Notepad, and remove it in front of the "Always use the selected program to open this file".
Find [Unattended] in the file and change the TargetPath=“Windows” under it to TargetPath="\\WinXP\\Windows"
Also add under it: ProgramFilesDir="\\WinXP\\Program Files"
CommonProgramFilesDir = "\\ WinXP \\ Program files" \\ common files "
FIG:

I386 HIVESFT.INF to find in the document, likewise with Notepad
found DEFAULT_PROFILES_DIR =. "% SystemDrire% Documents and Settings"
to modify DEFAULT_PROFILES_DIR = "% SystemDrive% \\ WinXP \\ Documents and Settings" save FIG
:.

2, installed XP system
In PE mode, format the C drive, the C drive is formatted into NTFS format, because the drive letter of the windows7 system installation is NTFS, otherwise WINDOWS7 can not be installed.
Then find the XP that was just unpacked and modified. System, click to install, how to install XP will not say. (It is best not to GHOST, because I am in the formal, do not know GHOST can not, you can try.)
After installation, enter the C drive to see is not All files are in the XP folder, not including hidden files. If it is not that the modified files in front of you are not correct.
3, install windows7.
Unzip the downloaded windows7ISO file, then install the system to C
4, modify the startup file.
After installing windows7, enter the windows7 system, open the hidden file, there will be a file Boot.ini.saved in the root directory of the C drive, open with Notepad.

[boot loader]
timeout = 30
default = multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \\ WINXP \\ WINDOWS
[operating systems] < BR> multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINXP\\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDEE CT /usepmtimer
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk (0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS= /usepmtimer
Delete all of this before. Save as the Boot.ini file name, delete Boot.ini.saved.
5, add a command.
This step is very important, we must pay attention to what software on the Internet can be used to add system options in the system startup project, in fact, no, those software are in different partitions of the system, not applicable here.
Copy the hidden files ntldr, NTDETECT, boot.ini in the C drive to the WINXP folder, and then copy \\windows\\system32\\winload.exe to the \\WINXP\\windows\\system32 file. In the folder.
Run as Administrator command prompt:

Right Run as administrator.
Enter Bcdedit /create {legacy} /d "Description" to enter, the prompt has been ignored.
Then enter Bcdedit /set {legacy} device boot Enter
Then enter Bcdedit /set {legacy} path \ tldr Enter
Then enter Bcdedit /displayorder {legacy} /addlast Enter
command Note that there are spaces, it is best to copy directly.
6, restart.
Basically, the methods on the Internet are theoretical, it is estimated that there is no practice, and success can not be achieved. This is my experiment, absolutely.
