System Restore is a very useful tool in Windows XP. ★Quick Start System Restore
First find the system restore background program, enter the C:\\windows\\system32\ estore directory, find the rstrui file, then right click and select "send to → desktop shortcut" In the future, you can quickly start a system restore by simply double-clicking the shortcut. Of course, you can achieve the same effect by typing "rstrui" directly at the command prompt or by clicking "Start → Run" and typing "rstrui".

★Rescue system in times of crisis

1. Running System Restore in Safe Mode
If Windows XP cannot enter in normal mode, but can still enter safe mode, we can start system recovery in safe mode for system recovery. Steps: Click "Start → Programs → Attachment→System Tools→System Restore”, select “Restore my computer to an earlier time”, click “Next” button to select a restore point, “OK” will restart the system and complete the system restore.

2. Running System Restore from the command line
If the system has crashed and can't enter safe mode, but can enter the "safe mode with command prompt", we can enter "C:\\windows\\system32\\" at the command prompt.

Note: The creation of new restore points is not possible in the above two modes. In addition, in order to ensure the normal operation of the system, please be sure to close all background running programs, especially anti-virus software and firewall.
