If you forget the WinXP login password, and you have forgotten the password, you will not use the WinXP provided "Forgot Password Wizard" to create a password boot disk. so what should I do now? In fact, it can be solved by running WinXP's internal command Net command. Now take the recovery user "ABCD" as an example to explain how to resolve the login password. Restart WinXP. At the moment after the startup screen appears, press F8 and select "Safe Mode with Command Line" to run. After the startup process is completed, the system lists the selection menu of the super user Administrator and the user ABCD. Click the Administrator button, enter the command line mode and type the command: <quo;net user ABCD 1234 /add”, forcibly change the ABCD user password to "ld" ;1234”. If you want to add a user here (for example, the user name is 12345 and the password is 67890), you should type “<quo;net user 12345 67890 /add”, after adding, you can use the “net localgroup administrator 12345 /add” command to user. Promoted to the system management group administrator user with super permissions. Then restart WinXP, select the normal mode to run, you can log in to the ABCD user with the changed password “1234” This method is only applicable to WinXP installed with FAT32 partition and the user account is not a Chinese character name. 3. Remove WinX through dual system If there are other operating systems in addition to WinXP in our machine, you can use another operating system to boot, and then delete the current SAM file on C:\\windows\\system32\\config (if WinXP is installed in C disk, can be deleted according to the actual situation), that is, the account password data file. Then restart WinXP, then the administrator administrator account has no password. Of course, if there is only one WinXP system, you can also remove the hard disk and switch to other machines to delete the SAM file. This method is suitable for WinXP installed with FAT32 partition. If you install with NTFS partition, you must ensure that other systems can access NTFS partition. 4. Use the NTFSDOS tool to recover the WinXP login password. First download a tool called NTFSDOS from http://www.cgsecurity.org/index.html?ntfs.html. Use this tool to create a NTFS partition that can be operated from DOS. Boot disk. After booting DOS, switch to the system. If C:\\Windows\\system32, rename logon.scr to logon.scr.bak, copy a command.com and rename the file name to logon.scr, then restart the machine and wait. 15 minutes, the screen saver that should have appeared now becomes the command line mode, and has the administrator permission, through which you can change the password or add a new administrator account. After entering WinXP, change the name of the logon.scr.bak screen saver back. This method is suitable for WinXP installation on NTFS partitions. 5.
