At this point, you can use Windows Media Player to open the DVDRip image file, and then run the “File→Properties” command. In the “Advanced” tab, you can view all the plug-ins used by the current DVDRip. Double-click the corresponding decoding plug-in in the list to enter the property control. panel. Drag the slider bar of "CPU (Quality)" to the leftmost position, and reduce the CPU occupancy rate to solve the screen pause.

Why can't the movie subtitles be displayed

Q: Why is my DVDRip movie not showing subtitles?

A: There are many reasons for this problem, mainly the following possibilities.

1. The subtitle file name is the same as the main file name of the AVI file. For example, if the AVI file name is test.avi, the prefix of the subtitle file must be “test”. Otherwise, VobSub cannot recognize the subtitle file. Naturally, It is impossible to display subtitles.

2. Whether the subtitle file and the AVI file are placed in the same folder, and the subtitle cannot be displayed if placed in a different folder. In addition, it is recommended that you do not place the subtitle file in the Chinese folder, which will also cause the subtitle file to not be displayed.

3. Whether DirectX 8 or higher is installed in the system. If it is not installed, VobSub will fail to load subtitle files.

4. Whether the latest version of VobSub is installed, because some low versions do not support Windows Media Player 6.4 or higher, so many subtitles produced by high-level software cannot be played in the lower version.

5. Check if the subtitle exceeds the border of the screen and the subtitle cannot be displayed. In this case, you can use the “Override Placement” button in the Vobsub settings window to adjust the display position of the subtitle.

Why is there only a picture during playback

Q: Why is there only a picture when playing DVDRip, but I can't hear the sound or can't output 5.1 channel?

1. Whether DirectX 8 or higher is installed and check if AC3 Filter is installed. If the two are not installed correctly, then DVDRip will not sound.

2. Some friends have installed AC3 Filter and TFM (AC3) Audio Filter in their own machines, but the two cannot coexist peacefully. It is recommended to keep only AC3 Filter.

How to realize double subtitle display

Q: I want to display English subtitles while displaying Chinese subtitles. How should this be achieved?

A: If you want to achieve dual subtitles, you need to use the help of DivXG400. After installing DivXG400, you should adjust the "Load filter" item to "Force" under the "Picture" tab in the property setting window. This way it can work with VobSub at the same time. When playing DVDRip, then enter the VobSub and DivXG400 property pages separately, each selects a different language, we can watch both Chinese and English subtitles in a DVDRip. If there are two subtitles overlapping, just add the value of "Vertical" to the "Subtitle" tab of the DivXG400 property page.
