Security lock Turn the USB flash drive into the key to open the computer

In public places such as offices and dormitories, you certainly don't like to let others use their computers easily. If you can add a hardware lock to your computer, just fine! If the U disk can be turned into a computer hardware lock, you must plug in the U disk when you log in to the system, and use the encrypted information stored in it to authenticate the user, which will undoubtedly further improve the security of the system. There is no U disk, this "boot key", no one wants to enter your computer system. There are a lot of software that can use the U disk to encrypt the system, but in contrast, I found one of the most personalized software - Natural Login.

Natural Login not only has high security, but also provides automatic login, account management, multiple U disk free binding, emergency login settings, personalized avatar, interactive question and answer login, mouse "painting" Login and other "unique" stunts. Here is the author to introduce you to the specific operation method.

Install Naturallogin

Natural Login is running Windows NT/2000/XP. Normal operation to install and run Natural Login, users need to have system administrator privileges. The first time you run the Natural Login wizard screen, you need to enter the registration number in the step one form. If not, click the Skip button to skip. In the Step 2 form, select the corresponding USB device, enter the current user's Windows login password in the Step 3 form, enter the password prompt question and answer in the Step 4 form, and set the emergency login information in the Step 5 form. . First enter the current user's Windows login password, set three to five questions and corresponding answer information in the question and answer area, so when you forget the login password or lose the USB device, when you log in to the system, in the Natural Login run interface Click the “EMERGENCY LOGIN” button in the lower right corner to enter the answer according to the preset question, and you will be able to enter the system smoothly.

Configure Natural Login

After restarting the system, Natural Login will completely control the Windows login interface. In addition to using the emergency account, you must plug in the USB flash drive and click the user name bound during installation. enter the system. Right-click the Natural Login icon in the taskbar system tray, select the "Natural Login administration" item, open the settings window (Figure 1), display the user information that has been bound to the USB flash drive in the Accounts panel, and select a user name. Click the "Edit" button to edit the configuration information.
Here is a new user as an example to illustrate how to implement the binding of new user login information and U disk. Click the "New..." button to open the Add User window (Figure 2), enter the user name displayed on the login screen in Account Name, select the user account that exists in the Windows Account list, and select "Exclude from login list". , means that the user name is not displayed on the login interface; click the “Change...” button to change the user avatar, and Natural Login provides a lot of avatar images. Enter the user password in Windows Password. If you select "Ask for Windows password at login time", you must enter the user password when you log in to the system. If you select "Auto Login", you can log in automatically when you insert the USB flash drive when the system logs in. Click the "*Add..." button to select the corresponding USB device for this user. In fact, the security performance of Natural Login is very high, and even if automatic login is set, security can be further enhanced.

Select the USB device name bound for the user in the Associated Keys list, click the "Additional Security ..." button to open the additional security settings window, click on the "New..." button, in If you select "Question && Answer" in the Scheme Type list of the open window (Figure 3), enter the question and answer below.
When logging in to the system, you must answer the questions preset here, regardless of whether you log in automatically. If you make a mistake, you will not be able to enter the system. If you select “Graphical Password”, a 5×5 dot matrix image box will appear. The user first sets a question in the Question, then clicks on the image box with the mouse to “paint” a simple pattern. In this way, when logging in to the system, the same pattern must be drawn in the image box of the 5×5 dot matrix under the corresponding problem to enter the system. By analogy, you can set up multiple such additional security items. In this way, even if the "intruder" gets the U disk, it cannot enter the system.

Display the USB device bound to different users in the Keys panel of the main window, you can create new USB device information, or edit the presence of USB device information. The USB device information consists of the device name and the actual drive letter. In this way, when the user and the U disk are bound in the Accounts panel, the USB device can be conveniently selected according to the preset device name.
