iTunes prompt 3194 Unknown error solution

Have you ever encountered the 3194 error code after using iTunes? There are also many solutions on the Internet, but many methods are not working. I believe that many people will encounter this problem in the same way as Xiaobian. I don't know how to solve it. The following method is a small series of rummaging through the major forums and personally test the summary of the solution, share it with everyone, I hope to be helpful to you.

cause of the problem:

3xxx error code usually means iTunes can not pass through port 80 or 443 gs.apple.com server connection. This may be due to an outdated or misconfigured security software, firewall software, an entry in the hosts file that redirects requests to gs.apple.com, or both due to computer Internet proxy settings.

Workaround:

1. If you are using a proxy, try turning it off or using a known good network.

2. Updating itunes to the latest version may also solve the problem.

3, modify the hosts file

Modify the hosts file:

1, first start the menu to run CMD, open the command line window, enter the command: nslookup gs.apple. Com, you will find the real IP obtained by visiting gs.apple.com in your area, and write down your iP.

2, the second step: open the C: \\ Windows \\ System32 \\ drivers \\ etc \\, use Notepad to open the hosts file, in the last line of the display: 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com, the Change the 74.208.10.249 to the IP address just recorded, and exit after saving, as shown in the figure below.

3, and finally if you are in the above steps, iTunes is open, please be sure to restart.

Need to pay attention to the problem:

iTunes activates the iPhone. If the error message still exists, please disconnect the phone from the computer, turn off iTunes, re-open and connect the phone to activate.

iTunes prompts for iPhone settings, please select Set as new iPhone.

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com is not necessarily in the last line, I hope you can change your mind, if you see not 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com but another address, Also replace it.
