Now the netbook notebook has been very popular, but unfortunately it does not have a CD-ROM, the installation of the operating system can only be external optical drive to carry out, very inconvenient In fact, we can install the system through the USB flash drive, but it is more troublesome to make a USB flash drive.

But now with WinToFlash, everything is very simple, it is a software for making USB flash drive system, supports Windows XP, 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 and Windows 7 system, so you can not use CD-ROM It is easy to install the operating system. Below we will use the Windows XP installation disk as an example to introduce the use of the software.

First, we put a Windows XP installation disk into the CD, and then insert the USB flash drive into the computer. When you need to pay attention, the USB flash drive is easier to be larger than the XP CD. Generally, the 2G USB flash drive is enough. Then decompress the downloaded WinToFlash, double-click the "WinToFlash.exe" file inside the run, and then click the wizard button on the main interface to start production (Figure 1).



After entering the wizard interface, we click the “Next” button to select the path of the Windows XP installation CD and the USB drive. After selecting it, click the “Next” button. A license agreement window will pop up, select "I accept the terms of the license agreement" and click the "Continue" button (Figure 2).



Tip: The Windows XP CD here only supports the installed version of the system, does not support the Ghost image installation version.

A format warning window will pop up, prompting us that the USB flash drive will be formatted. The data inside will be deleted. Click the "OK" button to format the USB flash drive and put the XP disc. The installation program in the copy is copied to the USB flash drive, and the installation disk can be completed in a short time (Figure 3).



When we need to use the USB flash drive to install the operating system, first set the boot order to USB priority in the BIOS of the computer, then insert the USB flash drive and reboot, select "1st, text mode setup", boot into the familiar Windows XP installer in text mode.

In addition to supporting Windows XP system, the software also supports installation of other operating systems. Just click the “Tasks” tab on the main interface and select the corresponding operating system in the “Task Type” menu. (Figure 4).
