Everything does not support the resolution of FAT32 partitions

Question: After the introduction of a friend, I started using the file search software "Everything", and the search speed is simply the speed of light! But the C drive is in FAT32 format. Everything does not search the contents of the FAT32 partition. There is no related content in the setup options. Is it because the FAT32 is not used by anyone now, is it not supported?

Answer: Everything searches for files very fast because it takes advantage of the NTFS partitioning feature to achieve super-fast speeds by reading and monitoring USN logs. Because FAT32 does not have a USN log, the FAT32 format partition cannot be searched. It is recommended that you change the C drive to NTFS partition, because the use of NTFS is more beneficial than FAT32, its stability and reliability are much higher. Under Windows, you need to convert the FAT32 partition to NTFS partition without loss of data, just at the command prompt. Enter the following command in the character:

convert c: /FS:NTFS
