How to use the intelligent ABC to input Chinese characters that are not recognized

Q: I am using the Windows XP operating system. Usually I only use the full spell input method and intelligent ABC input method that the system comes with to input Chinese characters. Excuse me, in the case of encountering Chinese characters that are not pronounced, in addition to looking up the dictionary, what method can I use to input this Chinese character? Don't tell me to learn five strokes, I don't want to remember so many roots.

A: The smart ABC input method works well when you don't know Chinese Pinyin, or you don't know the pronunciation of a word. You can use the pen input method provided in the intelligent ABC input method. The intelligent ABC pen input method classifies the basic components of all Chinese characters into horizontal (lifting), vertical, 撇, point (捺), folding (vertical bending hook), bending, fork, and square basic pen shapes, respectively, using 1 on the keyboard. ~8 These eight number keys are used to input the code. You only need to input the simple code table and input rules provided in the system according to the input method. It is important to note that the system defaults to this input method. If you want to use this pen input method, you need to set it as follows: Right click on the smart ABC input bar and select "Properties" from the shortcut menu. "Settings", select the "Pen Input" check box in the pop-up window, and confirm.
