Doubled Vista, Windows 7 sales are strong

  

Microsoft CEO Ballmer made an optimistic comment on the new operating system Windows 7 on the 5th, saying that sales performance was strong in the past two weeks.

General Electric reported on November 6 that Microsoft (Microsoft Co., MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer said on the 5th that sales of the Windows 7 operating system have been strong since its launch. On October 22, Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 7, was launched.

According to market research firm NPD Group, sales of Windows 7 in the first few days of sales were 234% higher than previous Vista sales.

Steven Guggenheimer, vice president of Microsoft's original equipment manufacturing division, said on the 4th that he has talked with partners and that customers have a good acceptance of the Windows 7 operating system.

About 25% of Microsoft's annual revenue of $58.4 billion comes from the Windows operating system.
