Win7 64-bit Ultimate system running msconfig command but prompted to find msconfig.exe solution

Cause analysis: may be due to incomplete file installation or file path changes, the user can run msconfig directly The program is opened because of the navigation function of the relevant path of msconfig.exe under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionApp Paths key in the registry. When there is no msconfig.exe related path or path error, there will be a problem that the file name cannot be directly opened to open.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. First click on the "start——run" under the win7 system. In the open run window, enter the "regedit" option. Press Enter to open the Registry Editor;

2, in the open registry editor, find the following registration item HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionApp Paths item;

3, right in the right side of the window Select “New ——item", change its name to <;MSCONFIG.EXE";

4. Select the newly created “MSCONFIG.EXE” item, in the right window, the character Double-click on the string value  default” and change the value to “C:WindowsPCHealthHelpCtrBinariesMSConfig.exe”.

5, after the modification is completed, click OK to save and then quit the registry, and then try to run, you will find that you can directly run msconfig to open the program.
