Hide project settings in Win8 Control Panel

Hide the items in the Win8 control panel. Because it is an older Intel integrated graphics card, you can only use the Win7 driver after installing Win8, but Windows update automatically updates the driver, which causes the control panel Intel. The graphics card setting item has failed. In order to remove the setting item, only the graphics card driver is uninstalled. In fact, it is not necessary to uninstall the driver. We can hide the items in the Windows Control Panel through the local Group Policy Editor.

Open the running window (shortcut Win+R), enter gpedit.msc and click OK. The system will open the local group policy editor, select user configuration &rarr in the local group policy editor window, and manage the template. →Control Panel,

Locate the specified "Control Panel" item and double-click it to open it.

Select Enabled to enable the feature, then click on the option in the option to hide it. Control panel items are set,

Fill in the name of the control panel item that needs to be hidden (you can right-click the item in the control panel, then select Create Shortcut, copy its name via the shortcut on the desktop),

After the setup is complete, return to the Control Panel and you will see that the hidden Control Panel items are no longer visible in the Control Panel.
