Win10 system DirectX version upgrade to 12.x Why some users display DX11.1 or lower

Familiar with Win10 friends know that the DirectX version of this system has been upgraded to 12.x. However, some users have checked the "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" and found that the version number displayed does not reach 12, which may show 11.1, or lower. So why is this? Is there a fraud in this?

According to the explanation of the Microsoft Community MVP, the DirectX version number displayed by the Dxdiag (DirectX Diagnostic Tool) tool may only list the level that the current graphics card can support, not the level available to the system itself. Windows 10 can support DX12, but if the graphics card itself cannot be fully supported, or only some features are supported, it may be displayed as a different version number. For example, if you use a core graphics card with an Intel processor, the version number here will be displayed as 11.2, not 12. This may be related to the size of the graphics card or the level of support.

So, if you want Win10 to be "literally" fully embodied in DX12, you must have a corresponding video card "supporting the waist", it seems that Win10 is still very "realistic".

The above is the Win10 system DirectX version brought by Xiaobian to 12.x. Why some users show the introduction of DX11.1 or lower related content, I hope to help everyone!
