In Win8/Win8.1 new operating system
, Microsoft added a Modern lock screen function. In the Modern lock screen interface, users can provide time, network connectivity status, battery and other information. Users who transition from Windows
XP or Win7 systems to Win8/Win8.1 systems may not be comfortable with Modern Lock Screen. Each time you need to slide the Modern Lock Screen Wallpaper to enter the unlock interface. How to disable Win8/Win8.1 lock screen wallpaper function? Below we use a simple method to disable the lock screen wallpaper, directly into the login interface.

1. Use the shortcut key (Win+R), start the "Run" window, and then enter gpedit.msc to open the local group policy editor [2] Figure 2 Start Local Group Policy Editor

2. Navigate to the following path: Computer Configuration\\Administrative Templates\\Control Panel\\Personalization, select the right side of the screen and do not display the lock screen. ;Options;

3. Double-click the “Do not display lock screen” option, select “ld Enabled” in the pop-up dialog box. Options, then click OK.

4. After locking the computer
with the shortcut key Win+L, you will find that the default lock screen wallpaper function used by default has been Disabled, the system will directly enter the login interface by default.

Of course, if you need to adjust the Modern lock screen wallpaper again, you can change it to “ldquo; disabled” by the above steps.
