Task tray input method icon is missing problem solving

By default, system icons like input method, volume, time, etc. are automatically displayed in the task tray. If you find that the system icon is missing, first check if it is caused by your own mistake. Click the same as the above taskbar setting window, click “Open or close the program icon”, and check whether the corresponding option is closed in the open window. If it is, just reopen it (Figure 3).

If there is no corresponding system icon in the above window (or the icon is grayed out), the reason is mostly due to system components Damage caused. For example, ctfmon.exe (input method loader) is replaced or damaged by virus, you can copy the same name file to other computer
to repair. For the repair of other common problems of the input method, you can use the Sogou input method to bring the component. In the property setting page of the Sogou input method, click on the left side of the page to enter the page, and then on the Sogou input method manager page. In the middle, click on the “Manually fix” option to go to the Input Method Manual Repair page, where you can fix common problems with the input method (Figure 4).
