Microsoft Win8 and other products won the US Department of Defense 617 million US dollars big order

  

January 5th news, according to foreign media reports, Microsoft announced today that the company has received a three-year new contract from the US Department of Defense. Under the purchase contract, 75% of the Department of Defense will use software such as Microsoft Windows 8, Office 2013, and SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Edition.

This statement, issued jointly with the US Department of Defense, states that the US Army, the US Air Force, and the US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) can now use Microsoft's latest technology to integrate, collaborate, and network around data centers. IT work in areas such as security, mobile, cloud computing and big data.

The two parties signed a three-year licensing agreement. The entire procurement transaction is about 617 million US dollars, and the US Army can save 70 million US dollars each year.
